Presidents from the local chapters will be on hand to make you feel welcome as they introduce themselves and other key members of their chapters. Join some of your HR counterparts from across the state and volunteer at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
Sadly, Oklahoma ranks third in the nation in the number of people who experience hunger and fifth in the nation in the number of people who are hungry at different times during the year due to lack of money for food. It’s time for us to give back. One of the many volunteer projects available gives us the chance to pack healthy snack food in backpacks for kids who can take them home over the weekend so they don’t have to worry where their next meal may come from.
Dinner to be determined.
Oklahoma Aquarium Tour
Thursday - 6:30 p.m.
$45 per person in addition to Conference fee
JUST ANNOUNCED! The Rowland Group is sponsoring the first 50 persons to register for the Oklahoma Aquarium Tour! Be one of the first 50 people to register at the Thursday Night Activities booth in the lobby area at the conference and go on the tour for FREE!
We will be going on a guided tour of the Oklahoma Aquarium including a behind the scenes Biologist Tour.
More than 200 exhibits are housed in the Oklahoma Aquarium, featuring thousands of salt and fresh water species and also mammals. In addition to the animals, the Aquarium is also home to the Great Hall, available for after-hours events, the Karl and Beverly White Fishing Tackle Museum, the QuikTrip Education Wetlabs and Classrooms, the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation regional headquarters, and the Zebco Casting Pond.
After the tour we will enjoy some down time at the Tulsa Riverwalk where you will have many options to choose for shopping and dining. (Cost of dinner not included.)
Dinner will be an additional charge and will depend on your choice of restaurant.
Interactive Cooking Demo

Join award winning Executive Chef William Doyle as he leads you through an interactive demonstration of culinary expertise. Chef Doyle will show you how to prepare a culinary delight which you will then be able to sample as you dine at the end of the demonstration.
Chef William Doyle has been employed with our facility since November 5, 2003. Chef Doyle received his culinary training in New York at the Culinary Institute of American and has over 20 years of culinary experience. He began in our operation as a Sous Chef and was quickly recognized for his talents and promoted to Executive Chef. Chef is responsible for a food operation of approximately $6 million dollars annually. Our facility was awarded the #1 overall Food & Beverage Operation in all of Renaissance North America Lodging thanks to Chef Doyle's incredible talent and leadership.
Chef Doyle is actively involved in the Tulsa area Business Advisory Councils for new innovative programs geared toward culinary education as well as being an active mentor for students in the culinary program with OSU - Okmulgee. Chef is also an stong advocate for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
