About George Freedman
George Freedman received his B.A. in political science from the University of Missouri in 1990. Freedman earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri in 1993, where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. Freedman clerked for Missouri Supreme Court Associate Justice William Ray Price, Jr. and retired Supreme Court Justice Charles Blakey Blackmar.
Freedman was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in October, 1993, first working as an associate for Poston & Fellrath, P.C. In 1994, he and Jeff A. Lee formed Lee & Freedman, P.C., an employment and family law litigation firm. William Wells joined the firm in 2001, and the three continued to practice in the areas of employment and family law litigation. In August, 2003, Freedman became of counsel to Lester, Loving & Davies, P.C., becoming a partner in May, 2007. Freedman has represented a wide variety of corporate and individual clients continuing to practice employment and family law.
Freedman is a member of the Oklahoma Employment Lawyers Association, previously serving as Secretary and Vice-President of the organization. He is a member of both the Labor and Employment Law section and Family Law section of the Oklahoma Bar Association, and a Barrister in the Robert J. Turner Inn of Court. Freedman has spoken on a variety of employment law subjects to various organizations. Freedman was a Class XIX graduate of Leadership in Edmond in 2004.
Freedman is married with two daughters, and is very active in the community. His volunteer efforts have included serving on the Executive Committee for the Lyric Theatre and Academy Board of Directors, and formerly the President of the Brasswood Homeowner’s Association.
