About Kris Rush
Kris Rush is director of the Oklahoma Prosperity Project, the State Chamber of Commerce’s groundbreaking program that empowers employers and employees to share information about critical election issues and the candidates that affect their future.
Her company, Grassroots Consulting, is also helping expand the Prosperity Project into Texas and other states in the Southwest.
Kris was a local chamber executive and economic developer in California for 12 years and a marketing consultant to the London (England) Chamber of Commerce.
She is the former director of the American Rose Society, a 38,000-member national association of rose gardeners. She was responsible for rebuilding their 118-acre rose gardens and headquarters in Shreveport, Louisiana from 1990-92.
For seven years Kris ran the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s grassroots lobbying program on business issues in 12 states, including Oklahoma.
Kris is married to Dick Rush, president of the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce.
LISA PUTT
Ms. Putt is the Vice President of the Benefits Practice at Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Professionals in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office. She is responsible for the new business and client management functions of the Group Employee Benefits Department. Her work focuses on overall design and service for the most robust employee benefits package which matches the client’s objectives.
Relevant career experience includes:
- Twenty years with Oklahoma’s largest health carrier in various roles including top marketing officer role.
- Marketing Director for OSEGGIB.
- Worked with Oklahoma’s largest employers on benefit design, negotiations of contracts, communication materials and implementing network reimbursement models. Also worked extensively with labor contracts and association business.
Ms. Putt holds a marketing degree from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Education from Oklahoma City University. She is a Registered Health Underwriter. She has presented seminars over the years regarding Oklahoma health concerns and participated in various health benefit forums at the state and community level.
Lisa also serves on the Board of Junior Achievement, YWCA of Oklahoma City, and Board of Governors for Oklahoma State Foundation.
